With school back in full swing, playdates and family vacations are now replaced with ball practice and homework. Nutritious and tasty snack recipes are just what your kiddos need to refuel after a busy day. We browsed Pinterest for healthy snack ideas and our mouth started watering when we found this Raspberry Yogurt recipe. We taste-tested it and and it’s even good enough for mom to enjoy!
- 1 cup frozen raspberries
- 1/3 to 1/2 cup milk of choice (depending on desired thickness)
- 6 oz of your favorite vanilla yogurt
- Optional: sweetener
Blend all ingredients in a blender or Magic Bullet until smooth. Pour into a bowl, top with fresh raspberries, granola and enjoy!
If raspberry isn’t your favorite fruit, you could even substitute strawberries. Try making this for breakfast for a jump start to your day, or as a sweet, (but healthy!) sugar-fix before bed.
